The Meadows Homes Association Monthly Board Meeting November 11, 2010

Laura Walker, President called the meeting to order at 6:05PM Roll Call: Bob Jakubowski, Dale Grojean, and Hart Semrau absence excused. Reading of the October 14, 2010 Minutes was waived. Approved M/S/C Bob Chrisman/Darryl Heintz.
OLD BUSINESS
Laura Walker stated our legal staff has informed us that when a lien has been recorded against a homeowners property assessed fines for non payment of dues are not collectable. Court action is not successful.
DIRECTORS REPORTS
KARLA LARSON reported three more Non-Compliance letters have been sent to homeowners.
JACKIE CHAGALA stated the Pavilion is almost completely booked for November and December.
DALE GROJEAN reported by Laura Walker. The pool renovation is ahead of schedule. The new fence required additional post holes to be dug. The new fence has only a 3 year warranty.
BOB CHRISMAN stated the trailer and motor home on Meadow Glen Wy W has been removed. A 15 day notice has been sent to homeowner whose tenant continues to park a skidoo in the driveway.

GUEST SPEAKER
Mr. Steve Jarvis, Project Manager for JOE’S PAVING explained the four different methods and recommendation for the maintenance of the 13 private roads in the Homeowners Association. 1) A Soil Engineer would be able to determine requirements for 30 years, 95% compaction . 2) Asphalt is porous and does not recommend the crack and fill short fix. 3) Owens Corning Co has a overlay called “TRUPAV” which has a life of approximately 15 to 18 years Asphalt is placed over the top of the TRUPAV. Cost $326,278. No trespassing or watering would be permitted one night. The material can be recycled. 4) Complete pulverizing of the existing roads and adding a 3 inch base is another method. Cost $466,416 5) R & R with a 4 to 6 inch replacement. Cost $915,793. Mr. Jarvis provided the Board with a total cost breakdown of the four methods He explained the cost for repairs can escalate. Estimated assessment per homeowner would be $583.64 for the TRUPAV method.
